Yesterday, I took receipt of my new arcam 250 from Mooregate Acustics and i was pleasantly surprised to find the c100 remote packed in there instead of the c80 as adertised 
I'm really impressed with the sound. It just sounds smoother than my old Sony DBR ST940 which I had to replace as the rear channels packed in and the center channel was on it's way out.
I was also going to replace my front speakers (mission m73i) but the sound is so much improved i don't think i'm going to bother now.
It just go's to show what effect a change in an av receiver can do.
So thank you for helping me choose Arcam (even if it is a really old model) over a jap brand again.
