Arcam AVR-300 shutting down problem

Hi,

I just received my AVR-300 receiver, tried to run CD and DVD and it turns off by itself within couple hours I played it, I tried to switch it on and it turns back of by itself within few minutes or so. It also has the red light flashing when it turn off by itself.

Sure it will go back play for few hours, but eventually it will do the same thing again.

Anyone got any idea?

Hi,

Could it be over heating?

How do you have your avr 300 set up?

I don't think it was overheating, I was running stereo only and using Krell KSA-250 as external amp for my main to run Matrix 802.

I just hooked up my rear today, I'm using all B&W DS6 S3 for my side and rear.

COuld be dirty mains - they are known to shutdown if they get a significant spike on the mains.
