hello!

I upgraded to a 60gb HDD a few months ago, but last night i noticed that all the games that were previously on my 20gb HDD are now 'trial versions', although my gamer scores for each game are still shown next to them?

is this a DRM issue?

thanks in advance

The items you purchased are linked to your gamertag, so you should be able to re-download all the games at no extra cost.

Re-downloading them wont work, you need to either be connected to Live for them to show up as full versions or transfer the liceneses.

Yup, had to do this myself for all my arcade games and DLC 244 in total:eek:

It takes a while but worth it if your not connected to live all the time or wish to take your console somewhere without a connection to the net.
If all your arcade games and DLC are still on the HDD, it only takes 2 seconds to re download them as they are already there as you have to do each and every one individually, but can only do this proces once per year.
So if you are planning on getting a new 360 during the next 12 months, wait to get that first, otherwise just go ahead and do it.

i got trials on my xbox elite.

That would be because the HDD comes pre-installed with several trial versions of games, the OP had bought arcade games that reverted to trials versions when he upgraded the HDD which happens because the serial numbers have changed and can only be fixed by either being connected to Live or transfering the liceneses.
