I really like the look of Arca equipment, especially the three small cabinets with speaker grille covers as shown in their web site front page (http://www.veda-uk.co.uk/arcasite/index.htm)

However, I went to Ikea the other day to look for a CD cabinet, and saw one of these: http://www.ikea-usa.com/product_presentation/show.asp?productnumber=00029335&type=III&id=6062

If you tip the Ikea on its side and add some doors to it (http://www.ikea-usa.com/product_presentation/show.asp?productnumber=80036892&type=ART&id=6062), it looks like an Arca, but for about £80 instead of about £1200! The doors I saw on display were in a dark grey colour, so will need some sort of IR relay system.

I couldn't find the Docent Ikea range on the UK web site, but I did see it on display at the Glasgow shop. I think I will soon have saved myself £1100!
