Veda UK who distribute Arca have stopped dealing with them - I actually thought Arca was Veda; or should I say Arca was a cabinet maker building whatever Veda UK marketing came up with to sell.

No info from Veda UK about 'Arca' surviving in any shape or form now that they have severed ties with the 'manufacturer'.

    Best regards

    Joe

PS Do you specialise in big transients or little transients? - I have a few standing waves you could maybe look into :)

ps. my transients are small amplitude high frequency! :D I rebuild my cinema room about every 3 months! Best not get me started on standing waves..... last time i tried modelling my room environment, my head went totally pear shaped as I couldnt ever get out of a transient state!

I tried to buy from Arca a few months ago, unsuccessfully via my local hifi dealer. Eventually I made my own units from MDF and used some Ikea kitchen end units and doors for the cabinet finish. You can see them in the "get your plasma out for the lads part II" thread!

Ive been looking into doing a home made thing, but seems alot of work and I have the feeling that even my best effort wont be up to close scrutiny..... so now im looking for custom cabinet makers to do something for me...... after all it is going to be one of the most visible parts of my system so it has to look good!

Try Kuban - they produce very similar cabinets to Arca.

I've just e-mailed kuban for a price list. Their web site is short & sweet. Nice looking cabinets but all you get is a fade in fade out sort of thing. So you can't see the range, prices etc.

Kuban look rather nice I must say. I can't upload the brochure cos it's too big. Company e-mailed it to me within a hour or so of requesting :)
