ARC Sound Trips Out at High Volume

I have an old LG 65" OLED with fast HDMI to a Denon AVR X6300H and when I crank up the volume or I am watching something and things get loud the sound briefly cuts out and back in (clipping?). I also have a Pc attached to the amp in the same way and when I run films or music through that I don't get the same issue. Any ideas please?

Did you ever work this out? I have the same on my 3700H

Ahah! I worked mine out. My Centre speaker wires were extended for testing and I left them loose and they were shorting out as the volume cranked up - So check your speaker wires.

Yes, a stray speaker wire strand was the cause of my Yamaha AVR occasionally shutting off a while ago.
