I wrap it around the intake which I take it are at the bottom with those grills. They will survive in the filter, my son had Cherry shrimp and they would swim in and out of the filter. Amanos grow quite quickly and will soon be too big to get in there. Give them plenty of shelter in the tank.Thanks. I’ll ask the missus to get one from the supermarket on the next trip. I think they can only get in the top due to the foam and stuff in the bag further down, so I assume you mean to just shove the puff thing in whole, rather than use it as an internal liner?

Have you ever kept them before?
If not you will see exoskeletons lying in the tank as they shed their skin when getting bigger. If you don't see the shrimp for a while but see those exos then they are doing well.
