Hi all, i am after an application (mac if possible) but pc will do, that once hooked up to a projector via a laptop will display different ratio's - 4:3, 16:9, 21:9 ect.

i am sure i saw something on here that produced a boarder with a circle, to see if any stretching was going on.

The background is I am setting up a few meeting across Europe and would like this app so i can test what the limitation are with some of the auditoriums we will be using as the translation can sometimes be tricky with technical specs.

    Cheers for any help!

Get yourself a test pattern disc such as DVE or I can't remember the name of Spears' new one. It will have this basic pattern, and many many more for testing the abilities of your display.

    Or try

    Displaymate

    or

    CalMAN Test Pattern Generator

Both of which should do what you want. The CalMAN generator is free so I would try that first!

A simple version of this is included in the THX optimiser found on many DVDs.
