Apple tv2 problem, looking for some help please!

I bought my Apple tv2 already jail broken around 9-10 months ago (unsure of the firmware) and it has been working perfectly until now.

The problem:
I went to use it this evening, clicked on xbmc to watch something but the screen froze and wouldn't do anything. I left it for a while, then tried rebooting using the remote. The remote was registering but not doing anything.

I then resorted to unplugging the device, when it turned back on I had the main home screen but the remote would not do anything. It seems stuck.

Don't know what to do next??

Any advice welcome.

You've un paired the remote by accident. Google pairing an apple remote!

I've done that a few times trying to reboot it.

Thanks for that, didn't realise you could un-pair them.

I'll give that a go.
