    Not got an iSight, but I do have this worthy alternative.

    iMage webcam. I've used it for stop motion animation on a Mac and it's been brilliant!

    £25 all in and it's yours.

    Or any other Mac compatible webcams - must be HD and good frame rate.

    The iSight isn't HD, is FireWire only, and - though beautifully engineered - is, even now, ludicrously overpriced. Most Macs will readily accept a FireWire or USB video input for the standard Apple apps, so you might want to pick up a second hand Flip or similar and use that. I can also recommend the higher end Logitech models (£20 and up) which play nice with Macs and are excellent.
