    Very good overall condition.
Boxed with wireless keyboard, magic mouse, mains lead and receipt.
It is the newest late 2012 model

Processor 2.7 GHz Intel Core i5

    Memory 8 GB 1600 MHz DDR3

Graphics NVIDIA GeForce GT 640M 512 MB

    Software OS X 10.8.4 (12E55)

    Hard drive 1TB SATA

Was purchased from PC World on 26th June 2013.
The only "issue" is I managed to get hand prints all over the screen when I set it up on the desk.
I have managed to get the screen much cleaner than it was but I still think it would benefit from a final going over with a microfibre cloth or something along those lines.
I will do a fresh OS install for the buyer.
More information can be found here.

    Configure - Apple Store (UK)

Although I have the box and packaging this must be collection only although if you want to arrange your own courier to collect from me then that is fine BUT YOU must ensure it is insured to the correct level.
The item and packaging will be photographed before it is collected to prove the condition it left me so any queries with how it arrives will have to be dealt with by you and the courier company you choose.
I am looking for £700 paid by BT
    Any questions please ask.
I am only selling as I am looking to take a break from my job for a while and need to get a few £s together to do so.

Whilst I appreciate everyone wants a bargain that's still too low I'm afraid, needs to be at least £675 to be honest.
I am off tomorrow,Wednesday 7th August if you did want to go ahead although I am at work 2pm-11pm today (6th Aug) so won't be here for a good part of the day.

Has the screen come up as new or is it still smudged and hard to clean?

I would say it is about 98% there :D
I am probably being over critical to be honest as I think most people would look at it and say that they cant see anything.
When it is on you cant see anything.
At the end of the day its a piece of glass and that isn't impossible to clean is it :D

Hi, sorry for the late reply, been extremely busy running around for decorating. I'm genuinely interested in buying for my son. My offer still stands, and would be appreciated if considered. Thanks.

You don't get discs with the new IMacs as they have no optical drive as standard :)
If you need to reinstall the OS it is downloaded at the time you do the reinstall.
Its not difficult to do although it isn't explained in the instructions (I dont think it is anyway) but I just did a search and found all the information easily enough.
At the moment it has OS 10.8.4 and if you were to reinstall the OS it would download that again.

    No I'm not,sorry

Sorry missed this reply this morning.
I would go to £650 on the understanding it is collected.
It has had the OS reinstall so is literally ready to go.
I would still like payment by BT.
    Thanks.

Still interested but would have to arrange a courier for it, which you state is at at buyers "risk" which is fine.

Happy to offer the £650 if you are OK with shipping, providing you have the original receipt to supply for courier confirmation/insurance, should (Heavens forbid, ) anything happen to it.

    Cheers

I do have the original receipt which I would enclose and also scan for my own records.
The only issue with it being collected from me is that my rota at work next week is mostly 11am-8pm and 2pm-11pm shifts till Friday which is my day off and couriers usually just say collection will be between 9-5 so unless I am there all day it might be a problem.
I am on early tomorrow so will be there 7-4 although I dont know if I will have chance to get it boxed up in time for that and then I am on late Friday.
Sorry it sounds like I am being awkward but I am just letting you know that collection might be a problem.

Chelleon sorry but I am going to accept marut'is offer purely because if they can collect it will make it so much easier for me.
I will acknowledge I did say originally that collection from me was possible but that was before I saw my rota for next week that was only given to me last night.
Hopefully everyone is okay with that and I appreciate that it might not be what you wanted but I hope you can see my reasoning as I think collection is a much safer option all round for everyone.

Not really OK as offered the revised asking price then a lower offer was tabled after I had posted and was accepted!

I understand that collection may not be easy or quick for you or I but I didn't say I was in a mad rush for it and I'm sure we could have worked this out with regards having a courier round at your convenience.

If a mod gets hold of this I suspect you may receive an infraction, but you have made your mind up so glws

I get that but whilst you might have accepted my criteria I dont believe at any point did I formally accept your offer?
I am happy to wait if you want to forward this to a mod for their decision.
    Thanks.

I am waiting for chellon to reply as he doesn't agree with my decision to accept your offer.
I am happy to wait for the outcome of moderation if he wants to go that route.
I think we should wait for now, sorry.

FYI you don't need to confirm an offer if that offer is for the asking price.

But not to sour a deal that you seem to have already brokered, I will bow out, put it down to bad luck and a waste of my time and continue my search.

Right lets look at this one guys. To get to the bottom of who is securing.

OP states in post making new asking £650 collected

This reads as a offer of £650 delivered therefore not meeting the reviewed asking

OP chooses to accept a offer of £625 collected

    Confirmation of offer recieved

You didn't meet the revised asking as mentioned above you offered £650 with no mention of delivery costs. The OP then decided to take the offer of £625 which was offered previously (see post 5). I'm going to rule that although this isn't a great example of how to complete a deal I cannot see anything underhand going on here. The OP stated several times he preferred collection and that is understandable and has chosen to deal via that route. So to summerise the OP is well within his rights to deal with the proposed buyer.

    Thanks
