Im thinking about geting this monitor as its the only decent LCD out there with high resolution and size.

Still, it bothers me that it only has one conection and I just wanted to know if this monitor will work with any and all windows based PCs with Nvidia or ATi graphics cards?

My PC has an BFG 6800GT with one DVi.
Would it work with this card?

If Apple plan to release another monitor in the future might it be better to wait?

    Cheers!

Yeah. I cant find any info on wether my card has dual or single link DVi.

I also heard that the monitor doesnt work with certain brand CPUs. I dont see how that can be since the monitor conects to a video card.
Still want to make sure there wont be any problems if i conect an intel or AMD based PC.

Does anyone have this monitor? And are you using it with a windowns PC?

    In summary:

The 6800GT does not support dual link. 6800 Ultra DD, Radeon 9650 and the Dell 6800 GTO apparently do. There is some discussion that all 7800 GTX support dual link (evga confirmed).

Hmmm. Looks like ill have to lay off getting that monitor.

Of course Dual link DVi is good and all, but hardly any cards support it so its not going to be a very friendly monitor.

The fact that it only has 1 conection also puts me off.

Ill wait longer to see if more large 30" or over monitors with DVi and a res of 1600X 1200 come out.
