Question App to burn video to DVD

Hello to all. My first question on AVForums. I've just bought a HP stream and would like to burn downloads to DVD. But I need an app to do this? Would anyone know of a free app that can do this please?

Welcome to the forum.

There are a few things to be clear about first.
The first is whether or not you are just wishing to STORE video files on a DVD... in which case they can simply be burned there if you have a DVD burner.
These will not play in a DVD player.

However if you are looking to store onto DVD with a view to them acting like normal DVD's which will play in a DVD Player, then firstly the video files can only be in MPEG2 video format which is the requisite format for DVD. So you may need conversion software.

Then the MPEG2 files have to correctly formatted for placing onto disc - which requires 'Authoring software'

Someone may be able to advise when it is clearer what you are looking to do.
