I miss picking up a game im hyped for at 12. Usually do it at Asda but im not sure they even have it for launch. They really seem to have fell away with launch games recently

Nah i like to sell games on when finished. Not one for building up a collection. My man was in asda earlier. They have it in stock but wouldnt sell him it until 12. Guess its just your luck what assistant you get as i got Ghost of Tsushima and The Last of us 2 a day early from the same Asda

Bit late, but your best bet is probably Tesco's 24HR.

Yeah i actually ended up getting it digital as the kid also wanted it on his xbox. Thanks

How do midnight launches work these days anyway?
23:00 leave home to go to store
23:25 swear and go home because you have forgotten face mask
23:45 stand in long social distanced queue with teenagers
23:46 in conversation pretend game is for your son
00:00 buy game
00:30 get home and insert disc
00:31 swear at required installation progress
00:45 realise you need to delete some other games to make room
01:00 finally red dead redemption has been deleted
01:01 start installation again
01:30 get suckered in to the fact you can now start the game even though installation hasn't finished.
01:31 Stare at the menu screen or walk round the single loaded room
02:30 finally game has finished
02:33 game refuses to let you do anything until it has installed day one patch
03:45 patch downloaded and installed
03:46 swear because a system update is needed
04:03 game finally ready to play
04:04 throw dual shock through window because battery has gone flat over the last four hours.
04:05 go to bed an cry
04:06 try not to scream at wife when she says "its only a game"

01:00 finally red dead redemption has been deleted: You just can't help some people.

04:06 try not to scream at wife when she says "its only a game": That alone is grounds for a divorce. 🤭

So is it any good

I'm really enjoying it, never owned the originals but remember playing on mates at house parties.

But God it's frustrating at times, I've never wanted to hurl a controller as much as I have in a few days of playing this, going for the high score runs and just restarting after I can't nail a decent first trick

Think I've restarted the school one about 30 times today after a wipeout:laugh:

Get into a half pipe and chain a few specials together and get out of it into a few manuals/grinds. Then finish with flatland tricks. Got all the sick scores that way
