Any1 know of anywhere on the net cheaper?
Looking 2 beat £840 + £30 delivery for a Panasonic 32 PK2.

Have read of John Lewis matching Internet prices & giving a 5-year guarantee Is this correct? Any1 had any experience of this?

    Cheers…Tel.

    Tel,

Yes JL do match internet prices and include the 5yr warranty. I bought the 32PK3 last month, they matched EmpireDirect £799 + 30 del.

    Cheers

    Phil

By the way I did consider the PK2 but I, like most on this forum, have a separate AV amp/speaker setup, it wouldn't be such a bad idea to put the £40 difference towards an av setup, you won't regret it.

    Tel,

can't beat that price, but I'd be interested where you got that quote from, as I am looking at the moment for a good deal!

    PJONG, (Phil)
Thanks 4 your reply,
That’s great news- it looks like I will be paying JL a call in the near future.
Can’t find anywhere cheaper than ED, but still looking.
So how much did JL shave off their price for you to match ED?

    The separate Amp issue.

Yes I am sort of thinking the same as you, I thought of getting a PK3 and setting up a separate amp etc. However need to convince the wife, as she thinks that surround sound is a waste of time (don’t know how she could know this as she’s never heard it, but that’s women 4 U). So paying the extra £40 is the best option at the moment as when she hears “Ali Mcbeal” in surround sound it might be a different story.
There’s method in my madness!

Skelly,(Steve) Beer has that effect on me also.

    Cheers Tel.

Try doing a search for the part number on pricerunner.com /co.uk. It usually finds some cheap sites.
