Anything strange going on with Brackets R Us?

    I wish I'd seen this last week...

    Two brackets ordered, one turned up and even that was the wrong colour. Aftersales is non-existent, I spoke to a girl in sales who clearly had nothing going on between the ears and I've been told the manager will email me (he won't call as they don't know how to use the phone or something).

    I fear the worst, just glad I paid on credit card.

    They wont respond to you ever. Best thing to do is to call your bank and get a credit/debit card cash back. All banks do this. It goes in dispute for 10 days and the bank takes the money from their account. Worked for me. Felt good to get back at these scumbags. The products are shockingly bad and don't work. Avoid this company

    Well they've responded albeit only by email. They've totally ignored my request for a refund for the missing bracket and have this morning said it will be sent today. I won't sign for it 'if' it arrives and have already asked the card issuer to do a chargeback so will go down that route.

    Absolutely awful service, avoid this company at all costs!

    Cannot believe all you guys that have received the same disgusting service from Bracketsrus as I did. I ordered 2 brackets for my sons tv well before christmas, a box arrived and I was initially happy, but didn't last long... There was only one bracket supplied instead of the two paid for and to top it off, it was the bloody WRONG one! They said it was compatible but the box showed the weight this bracket could hold was MUCH less than the one I ordered and needed. I said I wanted to return the bracket and get my money back... email after email , still no success. I would NEVER use this company again and suggest any new customers think twice and shop elsewhere. I am the kind of person who never complains but they have certainly got my BP up. they are a complete shambles. hoping to get this resolved soon or will be getting the small claims court involved...

    totally agree with you - awful company and I for one - will NEVER use again or recommend them to anyone. shocking

    Why, oh, why didn't I check this thread before sending them a payment this morning? :facepalm:

    In the last hour or so their website and eBay shop have disappeared and email bounces. I guess they have gone out of business.

    Off to PayPal to see if I can cancel the transaction - showing as "pending".
