I'm a big fan of rugby league as you may tell. I'm I the only person on this forum who owns both Rugby League and Rugby League 2 on the Playstation 2? Is there anyone who thinks there should be a PS3 version of this game? This would be great. I might email the developers for their view...

Just seen one the Sidhe developer's website forum that a RL3 is in the pipeline. Lets hope it comes to PS3.

Isn't Rugby League too violent even for videogames?

It's ok your not on your own :D I have rugby league 2 on PS and PC. It works on PS3 but doesn't look too good. I play it on PC and it looks great at as high a resolution as PS3 so it's possible.

If I had a choice thought it would be PES 7 I want developed :smashin:

Would be great to have a decent RL game. TBH I never thought much of the PS2 iterations. A decent HD game with Virtua Tennis visuals and all the comps (State of Origin has to be in there) would be great.

Have an idea CasFan might fancy one too

(Surely Aussie Rules would be too violent for a videogame )

A League game would be very welcome. I have RL2 on the PS2, not sure about the first one. I thought the gameplay on RL2 was quite good, so if it could be improved upon visually aswell as gameplay-wise, then I would definately buy it.

As for an AFL game, I don't think anyone actually knows the rules, so it would be hard to create a game for it.

I would have thought a Union game would be made before a League game? More world-wide appeal, hence more sales etc.

But yes Rugby is sadly neglected given its sort of popular compared to other minor sports like motorcycle racing or bowling or rally driving. What does surprise me is someone like EA dosent just take the engine from an American Gridiron game and mod it into rugby games? Most of its there, you just need reskinning and the specific rule differences?
