as the subject says,is anyone using the pioneer dv-868i dvd player with the sony hs-10 pj with dvi input?
if so,is there a significant difference using this compared to component?
any info would be greatly appreciated.

Don't have, either of the above but did see PQ was better on dvi through a 434 plasma compaired to the component output, but after reading a few sparse articals this was probably due to the component output not being upsampled to a higer rate for a HD screen like the 434 and it using a 3-2 pulldown to improve the PQ.. hope this helps a little.. and any comments on the above would be helpfull as im not sure this is 100% accurate.
