Got my Toshiba Hd-e1 on Wednesday and all I can say on Hd....WOW....I did have some initial Freezing up problems but it seems fine now...I now need to decide do I keep my Pio' 868 Dvd Player for Sd Dvd's (my Dvd collection is nearly all R2) or do I use the Hd-E1 for both Sd & Hd...my only concirn is the sound qaulity through the optical versus the I link from the Pio 868 to my Yammy Z9...
Anyone else decided what they are doing yet what do you think of Sd playback on the Hd-E1??

Unfortunately as most of my DVDs are R1 I am having to keep my Denon 2900 for the time being until a region hack is found.

But of the R2 SD DVDs that I have played so far they look and sound brilliant upscaled to 1080i on the E1. Why not do a comparison test, setting your DVD players up side by side and swapping a disc to see if you can notice a difference.
