Guys,
The Pioneer and Sony Freeview Set-top-Boxes come with codeable remote controls which allow you to perform some basic control functions (volume, power etc) on other manufacturers equipment.
Has anyone tried either of these remotes with their Pioneer PDP434/504 units to establish if they work with the Pioneer equipment?
I'm assuming that the Pioneer Freeview utilises the same codes anyway - but must admit that if I'm only going to be using one remote (most of the time) I'd much rather be using the Sony one - it's much nicer and has a quality feel.
