I'm looking at using an Audigy soundcard for dolby digital decoding. I want to output the front signal to one stereo and rear to another stereo. I also want to use a phantom centre channel and send all the low frequencies to the front speakers to which I have a REL connected rather than use the sub channel. Anyone using one of these and know if I can configure it like this?

you need to look at the wiring diagram for yellow socket (in the help file on your hard disk) this gives you the digital out and will allow you to send the signal to sifferent amps. if you want to do this analogue style simply connect the 1st 2 and last minijack to your amps.

you then change the software settings accordinly

so Yes it can be done.

however the digital output will only work for dvd and not other computer generated sound ie games
