I haven't but a friend of mine has bought a couple of canon lenses from them and recommended them to me a couple of months ago.

Sounds good thanks. I want to buy a Flash and they are £100 cheaper than anywhere else!

Sounds a lot of saving on a flash... almost certainly an import in case that matters and even then I'd be a bit suspicious TBH so do some more research as you might not be covered by credit card protection if they're based outside UK...

Yes, found out they are based in HK! Not buying from them as I dont think its worth the risk.
    Thanks for your input.

I've bought from them several times and also returned an item (not due to an issue) and they've been great on each occasion. I'd happily recommend them based on my personal experiences. :)

Do you get stung with customs buying from them? I notice there is a comment on their T&Cs that says the customer will have to pay.

I bought a lens off these guys this week - mainly because my credit card wouldn't get through Digital Rev's website - lens arrived in 3 days.

Decent service as far as I'm concerned but gotta say I was nervous given their patchy customer service reputation.

As with any grey imports, you have to weigh the saving with the risk. For me the £200 saving is worth it.

No customs duty - the lens came from their UK address.

Don't forget HDEW - Grey import/prices but located in UK

Can also recommend OneStopDigital. In HK but they guarantee to refund import/tax if you get stung and they have VERY fast shipping to UK. I ordered two lenses 19 feb and received them on 21 Feb!

I received my RX100 from procamerashop the opther day. Excellent service - they answered all my emails before placing a purchase extremely promptly.

It was shipped from somewhere in England by UPS.

Arrived superbly packaged, UK plug, and Japanese made version (others are Chinese if that bothers you).

I can only comment as I find things - obviously nothing has gone wrong so I haven't had to test that side of things and of course hope I don't!
