Has anyone used or seen this combination. If so, is there much improvement over a standard component connection or does the initial A > D conversion defeat the object somewhat.

With the recent price reduction on this unit I'm wondering whether it may be a good solution for connecting all sources and feeding inot the DVI input.

    Thoughts?

ive been reading the online manual for the ultra.
and one point to note is the
DVI output will only work with ntsc i/ps.
