If so have you tried using the Philips 963 analog outputs into your external inputs on the yamaha for dd or dts??

And did you notice a quality difference when you switched from one to the other??

The reason being that I've got a DSP A5 which I am selling at the moment and have ordererd a 630 which should arrive in a few days and I find the A5's quality on DD/DTS to be inferior than the 963 and was after a new amp that would provide equal if not better performance of my 963.

If anyone who has both a 963 + 630 could try this I would be very grateful.

Other comments with the 963's DD/DTS analog output with other amps are very welcome also.
