but you cant change the channel which makes it a bit rubbish in my eyes (Ive currently already got my V+ picture piped into my bedroom via standard RF cable, but am looking into getting a device to allow me to change channels. see the various other threads about this)

Have tried similar, to get signal from STB (old NTL, now on Virgin) to TV. both in the bedroom, just different sides of the room and didn't want wires.

All in all, the PQ was awful. Had a few moments of brilliance but never a consistent watchable picture. I wouldn't use one again ... Now got a 10m Scart running into loft across the room and back down to TV. Much better!!!

Philips are due to launch an HDMI video sender before long. I remember seeing the reports from the CES expo at the start of the year and tey were estimating 3rd quarter this year then. Not seen any reports since.

yep got this...only for the kitchen

always buzzes because of the wifi and when the microwave is on..thats it..no picture or sound

not really good but does the job for watching something in the kitchen..rather than a bedroom

I've had a Thomson one in the past on the old Sky box which did allow you to change channel. It didn't work with the old cable box as they use a funky IR signal it couldn't send, Argos do updated version by someone that can, not sure if the V+ use a normal IR signal or weird one again.

Signal quality at best was passable, plugged in via composite to RGB it suffered from people wandering about the house and picked up the wireless router, also I'm sure at some point someone had one near by and we had a fight over what channel was on till I changed the frequency.
