I've used dappletoft on about 3 or 4 occassions for banana plugs/spades. Honest seller and pretty fast too.

The plugs are decent plugs with only one thing to be aware of - the pins screw into the body of the plug and can work loose if you move the wire alot whilst still plugged into equipment. This can cause some loss of signal  but is easily fixed - just need to check whenever you disturb the setup significantly. That said I've not hesitated to buy a full set for a 5.1 biwired setup - that's quite a few plugs :D

I've not used him for wires so can't comment.

    Cheers Andy,

Will be doing my 5:1 and also my mates so yes I will need a load of plugs for those 2 systems.

I mailed the guy re the cables and he has sent me a sample of each cable he does - it seems really good stuff and alot cheaper than I can find elsewhere. The bi-wire cable (4x3sq.mm) at £2 a metre seems superb stuff.
