I've not used those particular ones, I got some crimp on ones that do the same job. If you can't use banana plugs like on my Arcam they are very useful

Yeh they look the same as the ones I got from CPC. I used them on Arcam Alpha 8r/8p amps that could not take banana plugs.

    Hi,
I bought these ones instead, it was still off the same user btw....
    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=295&item=5730669197&rd=1

They are extremely heavy duty, im also glad i only bought them for the speakers, theres no way they would fit inside my Sony Strde-875, far too thick, top quality by looks, feel and performance. Just remember pressing buy it now will only get you 1 plug, so for a pair, make sure you buy 2 :)

I use the very same plugs  They do the job nicely and can cope with thickest of cables.

I wont ruin your day by telling you how much they cost if you buy a full set of 20 for a 5.1 setup ;) :)

    Cheers, Mylo

Hi John :) , CPC see link above or see this direct link  http://custom1.farnell.com/cpc/product.asp?catalog_name=CPC+Catalogue&product_id=256680

To be fair the guy is not making as much profit on these but we are here to save each other money :smashin: Prices are + vat and del but while you are looking you may as well get some speaker cable or any other hardware you need. Delivery is free on orders over £30+ vat. I'm not sure if you have to open an account to qualify but it's free to do so and you get the huge catalogue sent to you for nothing. Otherwise a standard delivery charge of £3.99+ vat may apply. If you join I doubt you'll regret it :smashin:
Or if you go that way pop into the Trade counter at Preston.
    Cheers, Mylo :)
