In order to try to maximally exclude the moment of subjective auto-suggestion, I conducted hearing to the measurements, although in this article the hearing it is discussed at the end.     * Lynx L22 - the measuring sonic map of the highest category, signal/noise 122 dB.
    * Intel Pentium 4 processor 2.2 gHz, 256 mb RDRAM


    The general nonuniformity of the system of test equipment in the range 10-25,000 hz must not exceed in this case +/- 1.0 dB.

    I also liked the line "the worm of doubt has already sneaked". My misses says something similar on occasion.

    Reading between the lines (actually reading the lines made my head hurt) it would seem to be another result for the SVS boys. The conclusion drawn appears to be that the M&K is only better if you like certain forms of music AND you can ignore the price difference.

    I may be missing something, but I don't think I've ever seen a comparative group test kind of review where an M&K has fared that well. Stand alone reviews yes, or reviews as part of a full M&K system, yes.

    For those with more experience than I, are they any good or not?

    In the mean time, I'm off to dig out my sound pressure level meter to check I'm getting enough resounding sabvuferovs from my sub.

    The more expensive subs aren't bad and are reasonably priced in USA but they are just too expensive over here and equivalent or better performance is available at cheaper prices.

    I am a little confused :confused:,
    Why doesn't thier M&K MX-350 mkII have it's Proper "Original" drivers?
    (they look more like the sanyo ones from the MX-5000, which should use a bigger cabinet and a different amp). :thumbsdow:.
