    Title: Denon DVD-!920
    Released: Was September - now mid October
    SRP: £249.99

    Further Details
    Denon's latest DVD player has a appears to have a lot of bases covered, sporting an HDMI connection and supporting DVD, DVD-Audio, SACD, DivX, Audio CDs, MP3s, WMA9 as well as JPGS and Kodak Picture CDs. The benefits realised by using the HDMI connector can be shown thus:

    * HDMI with HDCP Digital Video for new generation Plasmas, LCD and projectors
    * HDMI Black Enhancer
    * HDMI multichannel digital audio transfer
    * HDMI Bass management
    * HDMI Video Select - For RGB or Component out via HDMI
    * HDMI Scaling from Silicon Image 480p/720p/1080i
    * Selectable Video Modes: Auto1/2 for film detection (24/30 fps rates)
    * Video1 / Video2 / Video3 - Motion Detection for Video sources
    * Low/Mid/Fast settings (normally only found on expensive players)

    The inclusion of DivX will help attract attention, especially when coupled with such other interesting features and at this price point, it will make this players one to keep an eye on. It also features more standard connections for the European market including RGB enabled SCART and Component connectors. Originally announced for September, it has been pushed back until mid October.
