The cheapest price of the Mordaunt Shorts Premier seems to be £270 from http://www.hificonfidential.co.uk/moreinfo.cfm?id=223(£250 for speakers plus £20 P & P) .

I really would like to know if anyone has seen these speakers for £250 all in or just if they have seen them cheaper than £270 .

Otherwise, does anyone know if I can pricematch the £250 with any other on-line store or order over the phone?

Try price matching with Richer Sounds. They stock the MS Premiers and say they pricematch. If you have any luck, I'd be interested to know. (I understand they can also order the MS Premier Plus pack, if you're interested in that one too.)

Sorry to disappoint you, but I managed to succesfully pricematch the product with another online store at http://www.hiwayhifi.com/site/product.asp?section=1&cat=41&sub=230&prod=19244 . The sales team seemed to be happy to reduce the price(over the phone) to the one I'd seen in another store on-line without actually checking the page . Obviously, based on the link from the first post, the shipping price was an additional extra . Therefore the overall cost was £260(£250 for product, £10 for shipping), which is not bad for a £10 reduction .
I decided to skip the on-line pricewatch form they provide, due to the fact that I wasn't sure of the response time, and also because they might get ideas about the £20 plus P & P and only drop it to £270 accordingly . Still, it's available if you decide you only want to order on-line .

Why did I not pricematch with my local Richersounds? Basically because it was a long bet, and since I've spoken to the local Richersounds staff over the telephone before, and found them to be erratic at best(and forgetful) I decided it was not worth the effort, especially if you work the transport cost into the equation .

Begs the question though - what would the hiwayhifi store staff have reduced the MS Premier Package to if I said that I'd seen it cheaper than the £250?

I'll update this post when the box arrives(supposed to be Friday or Monday) to see if it arrived in good condition .
