If you have where was it? And was it setup properly? I'm in Hampshire so any sightings in that locality would be perfect.

I finally think (after an eternity trying to make my mind up ) that this might be *the one* for me. In the review in "What Plasmas & LCD" this month it scored top marks for PQ which is my key requirement as it will replace my hefty 36" sony CRT.

    thanks,
    Andy

I have just replaced my 36" Philips Pixel Plus with a 37" 9986 LCD.

I initially wanted a 42" but have yet to see one or hear of anyone who has ever seen one (in UK)

    The price difference £4299 for 42" - £2888 for 37"
    +
£410 for 5 year warranty fior smaller set - over £650 for bigger one
    made up my mind.

The 37" seems much bigger picture than the 36" CRT-diagonally 3" bigger.

The other factor is depending on how you wish to mount the set.
Wall mounted or on a stand OK - you would get the best of ambilight
    BUT
if you wish to mount it on a tilt and turn bracket, as I have done, the 42" would have been very restricted in the turn movement as the arm of the wall mount bracket is only 13". If it is on a swivel the ambilight on one side becomes non existant.

I have since sent an e mail to Vogel to establish why they only sell such a short armed bracket-awaiting their reply.
