    ..my car.

I'm a builder and have my own company so I have to go out to peoples homes to do site vists for quoting work and need a good sat nav system. Ideally I would like it to take me door to door.

    I have a 2002 new shape Vectra.

What would be best for my requirements?

The TomTom 510 will do everything you need. The 710 is the same as the 510, but adds European maps. The 910 adds a HDD, US maps, mp3 player, text-to-speech, etc.
For UK use, the basic satnav facilities of all 3 models are the same.

I use a 510 in a 2004 Vectra, and it has only let me down once. That was in an extremely rural area, where the postcode covered a very large area (several country lanes), and the houses had names, not numbers.
Talking to the householder (once I'd found him), this happens a lot. When he phones a company to arrange a delivery, he offers directions to his house. They always say "don't worry, our drivers have satnav". They always end up phoning him for directions, or driving round in circles!
