As the title says, I received a dispatch e-mail on Thursday for this although it said at the bottom that titles not released til next week would be dispatched on Friday as per their pre-release policy. However, unlike usual nothing turned up today.

If anyone has received it from them, could they let me know what method they used to post it (i.e. Royal Mail or Parcelforce) as I have had parcelforce try to deliver something while I was out before and not leave a card to say they tried to deliver.

Normally Choices Direct use Parcelforce for Box Sets (My Millennium and Murder One box sets, as well as 24 all came via Parcelforce).

With all the boxsets above, I have always had an email on Thursday and they ALWAYS arrived Monday (The usual release date) in very good packaging.

    Hope this helps.

Do you actually get post on a Sunday where you are? as we dont here and if something is posted on a Thursday to me and isnt here on Saturday then 99% of the time it turns up on the Monday.

I think I may get the R1 version though as this one still has the cuts in.

Does the Region 2 boxset have any BBFC logos anywhere as I noticed they were not on the outside of the box?

I just had a look at the box in Virgin and could not see one, although half of the front is covered by promotional guff so it could be there

Correct. That is just a small selection of the collectables I've amassed.

Regarding the bbfc logo, yes there is a '15' bbfc logo on a small sleeeve that the boxset had on it.

Only the first movie has been cut. It is mainly a series of headbutts from various fight scenes in the movies.

    Taken from DVD Compare:

Cut 1: During the bathroom fight between Morpheus & Agent Smith, Morpheus head butts Smith knocking his sunglasses off. Smith retaliates with three head butts to Morpheus.
Cut 2: During the subway fight between Neo & Agent Smith, Smith head butts Neo twice whilst their arms are locked.
Cut 3: During the subway fight between Neo & Agent Smith, Neo head butts Smith twice whilst their arms are locked.

As a direct result of these cuts the Audio Commentary and Isolated Score were out of sync with the rest of the film, and because Warner did not want to invest in editing them, they are not present on the UK R2 (Admittedly it would be hard to edit the Isolated Score).
