Anyone played Star Shooter on the PSP?

I've just been playing the excellent Ikaruga on the GC and fancied getting a shooter for the PSP.

Not exactly spoilt for choice but Star Soldier looks quite tasty:

and the TATE layout looks like it will work very well on the PSP:

Plus the reviews are looking favourable.

Anyone got a copy they would like to sell me?

Is it me, or is that the most uncomfortable control layout for a game ever?

I thought that too but try holding your PSP like that and its actually quite comfortable.

The in game buttons are supposed to be customizable so you could set it up any way you wish and the screen can be changed to the normal setting as well.

Buff - What do you think of those 2 games? I never like Burnout on the Xbox preferred Outrun2, now if they release that on the PSP <drools>

Ive played Star Soldier. Wasnt impressed with it at all to be honest! Controls arent bad once you redefine them. I had autofire on so just needed to use directions, and remapped left trigger to secondary fire. Its a port of a very old nes game and i dont think they shouldve bothered updating it personally. Its sequel on the pc engine Soldier Blade is probably my all time favourite shooter, and runs perfectly on the PCE emulator. Id say get that instead! Doesnt run with the psp horizontal like this one but its more comfortable with it the right way up anyway. Also, dont think i saw an option of rotating the screen on star soldier. I could be wrong tho. Found the gameplay very dull on star soldier, boring low polygon graphics, uninteresting music and sfx, and pretty damn hard! But not in a good way like ikaruga is. Some people like it tho... :p
