The guy in Richer Sounds says this is the best buy in my price range (£600), but I can't find anything on the Interweb about it aside from on the Sharp website.

Can anyone who owns one confirm how good it is, or can someone explain how (assuming the guy knows what he's talking about) there's no buzz about this set on the Net?

I'm also looking at the Sharp LC32WD1E but can't find much about it.

The specs are on Richer Sounds here. The instruction manual (warning - 10mb PDF) is here.

Looks like its got lots of connections on the back if that floats your boat: -

    EXT1 - SCART (RGB)
    EXT2 - SCART (RGB)
    EXT3 - S-video / Composite
    EXT4 - Component
    EXT5 - VGA & Audio
    EXT6 - HDMI & Audio
    EXT7 - HDMI

I'd be interested to see if anybody has got one and is happy with it.... Are Sharps well regarded, as I've never had one before?

I was told myself today by a nice young man in Richer Sounds that this was up beside the panasonic TX32LXD70.

Can anyone help out. I had my mind made up for the Panasonic, now I am thinking of the Sharp.
