Sorry to ask this here, I emailed Krish but got no answer.

Is the Denon 3805 they sell a UK spec and sourced machine?

Also, as a rule I never buy off a company that does not respond to enquiries (after all if they cannot deal with sales, how well will they deal with a problem?)

So has anyone had any good/bad dealings with them or indeed other companies.

I don't know anything about Krish, but my experience of buying from companies that give the best prices, such as Digital Direct, Sound and Vision etc is that the product will probably be sourced from other European countries where they can buy them cheaper than from UK distributors.

I'm happy to be corrected if that's not the case any more.

I would also be concerned that the mic is optional as it is certainly included with the UK model.

    I got mine from av-sales - http://www.av-sales.co.uk/html/denon_avr-3805.html

Only £16 more than Krish and superb service imo :smashin:

EDIT: As you're in Kent you could pick it up from Tunbridge Wells like I did.

...then have a wander into one of their listening rooms and end up buying more stuff like I did :zonked:

I bought a denon receiver a few year ago (3801) from Krish AV .The service was OK and the price then was very reasonable. However it had a non standard power plug and i had to buy an adaptor for it. Yes, i think their products as sourced from elsewhere.
Never had a problem with the amp so cannot comment on their customer service

I also rec'd no reply to a recent query. But I have bought from them in the recent past and they appeared to be fine on the phone. As with a lot of small retailers with a web presence, speed of response is patchy - why don't you pick up the phone and ask all questions you want (UK source, mic, plug, etc)? Their prices are certainly good and they have a shop front (in Chiswick, I collected my speakers from there).

I purchased two amps (Yamaha DSP A5 and a Denon 2802) from Krish AV, as well as my Pioneer 757ai. They assured me all items were UK spec, I have never had any problems with said items.

They are a small retailer on Chiswick High Road and after a bit of haggling always knocked off a bit more of the price. I can't fault them.

    Hope this helps
