Anyone make a multidrive PATA NAS

Have several PATA drives around. Was wondering if there was a NAS I could use these to populate and possibly create a single larger raid array.

I have seen a couple of 1 bay PATA enclosures, but not 4 bay

im afraid the consumer NAS market took off after the move to SATA :(

If you had spare PC parts hanging around you could turn it with the PATA drives into a NAS. There are dedicated linux operating systems for NAS use such as FreeNAS or CC or you can just use any general one like Ubuntu.

Alternatively and probably the easiest to setup would be Windows Home Server.

Though if you lack the parts it would most likely wind up being cheaper to just buy a new SATA NAS.
