Anyone know when the new HD Sony LCD are out?

    I read some stuff on them a while back but was wondering when they're released.

    Some of them sounded quite good.

    Not sure on the price points they'll be but proper HD with wega engine could be a winner for me.

    I talk a little about pricing in the thread called "New Sony LCDs - when?". I'm really excited about these.

    The most info I can get out of Sony is "late Summer, August/September".

    cheers for that.

    guess I'm going to have to wait a little longer and then (maybe) gawp at the price!

    pity it looks like only one HDMI input and no DVI. Both would have been perfect for going down the Media Centre 2005 Sky HD route.

    We can live in hope :)

    And only one Component in (even on the US model). Sony always have been stingy with the inputs haven't they?

    Good to see VGA in this time though! And 2 RGB-enabled SCART terminals... whatever use they are to us HD people.
