Ahoy,
Could anyone tell me which Blu-ray players out there have RS232 and can turn off any on screen display stuff ('play'/'pause' logos etc)?

Big thanks in advance!

Sometimes no response is a response, if that makes sense! Why would you need an RS232 port and why do you need the ability to supress on-screen graphics?

That does make sense, I'm afraid. :p

The unit will be used in a professional environment, so need to control it with a computer, and also not have a 'play' logo appear when the cue is given to play a disc.

Annoying, but necessary.

Is the play "logo" masking a part of the paused picture you wish to display ?

I think I found one.
I've ordered a Pioneer BDP-LX52. According to someone at Pioneer, it can do the above bits.

I'll report back when I've tested it.
