With JVC's 3D Phonic system on their TV's (WFR1) Do I need a DVD player which has a DIGITAL DECODER...I'm confused.
Only require the benefits of 3D Phonic option, not full pro logic which this has too incidently. Their 3D Phonic works from Dolby Digital encoded sourses.

    Hi

3D Phonic is designed to try to simulate surround sound without the need for extra speakers. It should work with any stereo source.

You´d be better off getting a "proper" system to get the desired effect i.e dvd, amp/receiver and speakers.

    cheers
