Anyone Know How Business Tariffs Work? Especially With Vodaphone...

Hi everyone,

I was looking at the buisness tariffs on the Vodphone site earlier, and I'm not sure if I understood it all.

I was trying out some plans with the current iPhone (would like to do this with the new iphone, but I'm just testing for now).

So I chose the iPhone 3GS in the business section, selected 2 as the quantity (one for me, one for my assistant), and selected a £50 a month tarrif that includes 2000 mins and unlimited txts.

Everything on the site suggested that this is the total monthly cost and that these mins and txts can be shared between the two handsets.

Is this right? It seems too cheap to me, but having said that, the business tariffs on all networks are much cheaper.

I was looking into this in the hopes that I could do something similar with 2 new iPhone 4s in the near future (although obviously the tariffs will be higher).

Yes, the minutes/texts etc are shared between all the handsets on a business acc.

Bear in mind all the prices are quoted ex vat, not inc...

I don't have experience of Vodafone but generally the price quoted is per month for the first handset and the shared minutes/texts Additional handsets are then charged on a line rental only basis. Then add VAT on top.

One thing you should check carefully, is how much data costs. This can be quite significant for a business plan.
