    HELLO THERE CHAPS!

Not posted in here for a while, wow.

I'm going to be up in my favourite part of England in the May half term week, Torquay.

I went for my first time there last November for a work trip and took my SLR and loved it, but as it was work orientated I couldn't go on a long trek just for photo taking.

I'm going to be there for a week this time with some friends (one of them is Jody who I did my first photo shoot with last year - you may have seen it :)) and am wondering if there are any hot spots I should check out?

My friend i'm meeting there (primary reason i'm going for a whole week, 'cause she's lovely :D ) will probably know some good areas too, but as you're all pros here, thought I should ask you aswell!!

Will be taking the 18mm-200mm Sigma and I will be buying a 50mm ready for the trip aswell.

    Cheers. :)

I think the best place is down by the new marina mate, there's loads of colour and activity including a continental market one day a week. If you have a tripod, take it with you and be sure to have a wander down there after dark as well when it's all lit up. Just across the road from it, you also have the 'illuminated forest' or something that its known as, which is well worth a few shots. The main fountain near the marina is also all lit up at night with a lovely grand building as a backdrop, looks a little like the whitehouse !

Forget about where to make photographs and the gear you're taking.

Get a fresh haircut, some new shirts and pack your dental floss the best pair of shoes you own.

Paington faces the East, surly you can't get Sunsets off the pier (unless it's of the houses). Sunrise perhaps.
