Anyone know anything about the LOTR DVD Release?

    From what I've heard there are going to be two releases. The first is in August (I think) and is a two disc set. The second is in November and will contain the extended Director's cut. It's gonna be a 4 disc set and cost.............£29.99 (ouch!) Play.com are taking pre-orders for this second release at the much more reasonable price of £21.99.

    By the way, all the above info is about the R2 release.

    Not sure, but when I do get it - would I be better listening to it via optical or coaxial digital connection to my amp?

    Think you are better listening via your speakers and your amp....thats what i do.
