You could try contacting them here and see if it's an easily fixable problem or a recurring fault.

    Hulkhead,

Don't know anything about fixing fridges freezers but you better drink those beers before they get warm. :D
Would come and help but Kent is a bit far from Aberdeen so the beer would be warm when I would get there. :rotfl:

When it happened to ours a couple of years ago it was the compressor that had gone. I think they quoted about £200 to supply and fit a new compressor which wasn't very cost effective so we bought a new fridge freezer instead.

If you a buy a new one the supplier must take awy away your old one and dispose of "greenly".

Saves you dumping it in the local park or pond :rotfl:

If it still sounds like its running, but not keeping cool, then you may be able to get it recharged. This happened to me a little while ago with a Candy fridge freezer. Phoned up a guy from the yellow pages, He came out and toped the gas up. It only lasted for a few months though. Still it got me though untill I could afford a new one :)

Sounds like it was leaking the refrigerant.

    Have you tried defrosting it?

Yes I know its a frost free but frost does build up behind the covers in the freezer section particularly.

I had a Zanussi frost free and when the fridge stopped being cold (freezer was ok oddly enough) I enquired as to what could be wrong and the chap I spoke to (a local firm) advised to defrost it for at least 24 hours, preferably 48.

This worked for me for initially, but about a month later it started failing again so I bought a new one. Might buy you enough time if nothing else.

Must admit I was a bit sceptical about as I couldn't see anything in there, however, I removed the cover that is inside the freezer towards the back and it was packed solid with ice.
