    Hi,

Anyone here own a Sony Camcorder & Sony Digital Camera, and are using a Sony USB driver for both devices?
If so, did you have any problems installing both drivers, and do both devices work correctly?

I'm asking because I own a Sony Camcorder (TRV-950) and am running it's USB driver. I'm thinking about buying a Sony digital camera (DSC-P52) which will have it's own USB driver. I'm worried about both USB drivers conflicting with each other.

Can anyone help me with this?

    Thanks.

    Hi Kopo

    Thanks for reply

So are you only using one driver then, or both?

I wouldnt want to connect both at the same time, just one or the other.

I have a Sony TRV 900E and a Sony DSC - P1, both have memorystick, I got a USB reader from Jessops for £22, which is much easier than connecting the Camcorder & Camera.

    FAO MartinImber or kopo

    I'm after a Sony TRV22 as a second camera.

Can you tell me how you manually control the focus, does the lens rotate by hand, or do you focus with a menu?

I have a Sony VX2000 and wondered if the TRV22 takes batteries from other Sony kit.

Could you measure the base of battery for me?

    Cheers All,

    Duncan.

Don't know that much about the 22 except it is not as good at widescreen.

However this range the manual focus is done on the touch screen

    Batteries are

    NP-FM30/50/70/QM71/FM91/QM91

    Hi Guys,

Just got this from Sony Support

"We can confirm that the DSC-P52 can indeed use the same drivers as the
DCR-TRV950E and therefore providing you do not connect both products at the
same time you should not experience any difficulties. We can also confirm
that the DSC-P52 is compatible with both USB 1.1 and Windows ME."

    So my problem is solved.

My thanks to all those that help
    :smashin:

    Regards
    Duster.
