Ages ago there was a lot on here about a Nintaus player that had VGA out but there were a few bugs with it. Most people who had one returned them.

There was also a Skyworth player.

I have a Nintaus DVD-N828 with VGA output and Zoran Vaddis 5 chip,I haven't tested it yet, as I'm waiting for my receiver.

In China Nintaus is one of the biggest and it is regarded as the best one at the moment, and these new generations of DVDs (if you go to www.nintaus.net and choose chinese when you enter and choose the dvds dropdown menu, you will see they have quite a wide range of players) are much better now and the design is as good as Japanese ones.

N868 has the new Zoran Vaddis 6 chip (www.zoran.com), dvd-audio and vga output, with a design that looks like the panasonic/jvc (maybe it is the same)

For all forum readers, Zoran chips are actually in Pioneer/Toshiba/Arcam/Samsung/Sharp dvd players so it can't mean that it is that all bad.

MontyUK, It should be the same as N868, however, I am not sure if it has the Sage chip or in any other models except for 9769 as it is not mentioned on their website, it might only use the Zoran Vaddis 6 chip as it is a all in one integrated chip as this link reports, http://www.zoran.com/whatsnew/07_09_02.asp

Regarding the drive problems, it seems isolated to 9769, as the 800 series doesn't seem to have had any problems ( I have also had a N818 before this one).

The price for the N828 was converted to sterling £80, which is extremely cheap as it is definitely at least as equipped as the Limit9000se if not better as it has VGA out.

Have you enquired what the N9868 price is in DKK? I think the price for N868 is around £140, and I would guess that the Danish price in sterling would be at least £250.
