    What is it like?
I have seen it on qed-uk for £800 which seems an amazingly low price for a projector.

Incidentally, I know the pt ae200 is reckoned to be very cheap but have not found it cheaper than £1000 yet.
Komplett.co.uk was mentioned as a good source but they do not list it on their website - anyone know if it is still available from them?
Any other super cheap places for it?

    Thanks.

LCD display technology, VGA resolution (858 x 480 pixels), True 16:9 display- 4:3 compatible, Contrast Ratio: 600:1, Lamp: 130W (3000 hour), Zoom: digital with Manual Focus , Digital Keystone Correction +/- 20: vertical, Video processing: Scaler Faroudja DCDi, Projection distance (min/max): 75cm-3.76m, Projection diagonal (min/max): 32inches 100inches, 2 5W Integrated speakers, NICAM stereo, Total 10W RMS audio output, SCART , RGB via SCART , Composite Video Signal, S-Video , Analogue component, Includes on board stereo sound Faroudja DCDI processing, Operating noise: 28dB

Specs look good. Haven't seen/heard anything about the Toshiba though.

AE200 has indeed disappeared from the .co.uk & .ie Komplett sites. Still listed on their .de site though (5 in stock)

Probably worth giving them a call on Monday for an update.

Also worth calling Discount Electric (forum sponsors - banner add up top ^^). Good price too IIRC & free dead pixel check.

Looked into this a bit further and it is apparently a new model so does not actually seem to be available yet, although a number of places are advertising them.

On previous experience can anyone comment on how Toshiba projectors in general compare to say Panasonic?
I am interested in the budget end of the market.
