Anyone having trouble with the media remote?

As supplied with the hd-dvd drive.

Mine worked fine for a couple of days, and now I just cant get it to operate the 360 or the hd-dvd - not a battery problem.

Has anyone any suggestions?

When you say can't get it to operate?

Do you mean it won't turn the console on or that when the console is on none of the buttons do anything ?

I have found a couple of times that my remote was not responding but for some reason if I turned one of my controllers on for a few seconds the remote would start working fine again.

it's not the wireless signal throwing a bit of a wobbly ?

The media remote, sadly, is not wireless....infra red (which is a gip)....

Seems strange then that sometimes my remote does not operate if one of the controllers is not switched on.

mine is very unresponsive. Takes three presses of a button for it to do anything.
