Logged onto DVD Soon this evening and placed an order. Went through fine and received confirmation e-mail.

About 5 mins later spotted another few discs I wanted to buy, tried to buy and got a message saying "Your account is on hold, please contact customer services" - which of course you can't as they only open Monday to Friday.

Checked with my card issuer, no problems there, so tried another website and no problems buying there (that's about $68 you lost by the way DVD Soon!).

Very frustrating. Anyone else ever had this problem?

Think I've figured out what's up.

About a week or two ago I bought "Brotherhood of the Wolf" 3 Disc Edition from them. Tried to order it again as a Xmas pressie for a mate and that was when the account stopped.

Think it might be something to do with that disclaimer about them not supplying dealers. Think it may have stopped me because I tried to order a second copy of a title.

If that's the case I'm a bit miffed. They must know at this time of year there's going to be lots of people buying titles again as presents.

    :(

what you say isnt the problem cos my account came up with the same message about a week ago! contacted them about but got a confusing automated message back! i personally thought it might be down to the fact that the account is in my name but the card is in gf's name..... having said that it's never been a prob b4.

truth is only they know why.... and they aint forthcoming with info when you contact them.. still at least the prices are dirt cheap....

But when you got this confusing message, did they reactivate your account?

Same thing happened to me the other day.

I dont think their ordering system likes you making two orders one after the other. I emailed them and got no reply, but it was working fine the next day.

Other people on other forums have also suffered the same problem with DVDSoon over the last week.
