I paid extra for the Saturday delivery... can't be arsed chasing it round the country. And I can't fit it in my car.

Have you had it delivered yet?

I am v. unhappy today... bought mine on the interest free for 6 months deal and was expecting the unit to be delivered tomorrow. Got an email through yesterday saying my order cannot be processed until I have signed a copy of the credit agreement and sent it back... which arrived yesterday whilst I was at work. Posted it today but have no confidence that they will get it in time.

What a pain in the ass!

In the past I have placed orders for PC parts, they are cheap but if something goes wrong GOD HELP YOU.

You have to pay postage to send faulty goods back and they will not refund postage costs. I did get a refund on some items only after 2 months of logging on and using the special areas in your account, its a real nightmare !!!!!

    So be warned.

greyhorse - that's where a nice big credit card company comes in handy, they'll pursue the cash for you with far greater muscle power..

Mine turned up at 11am this morning, unfortunately I'm now at work so can't sit at home & play!

There's nothing worse than getting a new toy delivered and not being able to immediately rip it open and get it on.

Let me know what you think DJ.

    Will do sir....

It's very difficult to work out what to christen this baby with too.!?!?
    a) Liverpool v AC Milan Champs League Final
    b) Depeche Mode in concert
    c) Goodfellas

I'm starting to think a good 1940s Johnny Weissmuller Tarzan film but being balck & white it defeats the object..

I take it you don't want to christen it via whacking it with a champagne bottle

I name this plasma "broke" :D

EBUYER  the name alone gives me a cold shudder right down my spine.i wouldnt use these clowns again for PC parts never mind an expensive and delicate item like a plasma.sure the credit card is a god send when using these guys but its still a major hassle having to deal with them for the early steps.

I ordered 2 last week and they came today at 9.30am. 2 women delivered them in a plain white van! Maybe citylink ran out of vans lol

I put one up in the afternoon and it looks great, great value for money! I wanted one more but they where out of stock :(

PS: I have spent over 10,000 on ebuyer and never had a problem with them :smashin:

She arrived absolutely fine, Citylink with a single female driver.

Going up on the wall later this lunchtime, it's Soccer AM on the floor until then. Rather than laying in bed watching Saturday morning TV on my 15 Year old Sony 14" - I did find myself legging it downstairs first thing like it was Christmas Day all over again.

Very happy so far but I have one issue I can't work out?

I don't want to put an aerial feed into this - will purely use Sky. However, everytime I switch the screen on it asks for an aerial feed automatically to set up it's DVB system. Any idea how I can switch the whole DVB system off so I can just select AV1 & go straight to my Sky????

How do the few clips of footie you've watched (on Soccer AM) look?

Great, there's a tiny fuzz around some of the brighter kits (Reds, Yellows) when the camera angle is far away, close ups are near perfect - but the plasma is a lot closer to me at the moment than it will be when it's on the wall (which has been postponed until tomorrow morning now).

All these months waiting for new models to come out & in the end I opt for a slightly older, non HD screen on the cheap but i'm very happy I did - saved a load of cash....
